[The first Sunday in April]
Dreamy Oi-shape flame appears on Mt. Mimuroyama when Kasugai Onsen Festival is held on the first week of April.
[Beginning ~ Mid April]
The biggest event in spring which is held everywhere in the city in the flowering season of peach trees. As the highlight of the event, "a picture scroll of the Kawanakajima Battle in the age of civil war", the single combat of Shingen Takeda and Kenshin Uesugi is reproduced at a riverbed of Fuefukigawa River.
[Beginning of April]
Over 4000 runners from all over the country run through the tunnel of peach flowers and compete being a good walker.
[April 15]
It is the first spring festival of the Ichinomiya Sogen Shrine which has been called "Omiyukisan" and loved for a long time. In the Edo Period, people paraded to the Shingenzutsumi bank carring a portable shrine (mikoshi).
[Marine day ~ August 19]
Poetry of Nature in summer, "cormorant fishing" in Fuefukigawa River uses the unique fishing method, "Kachiu", which a cormorant fisherman goes in the water and handles a cormorant.
[August 16]
It is one of the four major fire festivals which were held in Kyoto district in the Edo Period. Bright flames color the midsummer night.
[August 19 ~ 21]
The climax of the 3-day festival is fireworks. Large-flowers of various colors color the night sky gorgeously to value the summer going by.
